“I don’t think the song is made to bring people down. I think it’s a critic to our society everyone is striving for perfection but deep inside no one has really the confidence to say that he/she is perfect. We always find someone prettier than us or better than us. I personally think that this song is for those people that at least once in their life thought that they weren’t good enough and that felt alone, so that they won’t think like that again. This song has a really deep meaning.”—A comment on 2NE1’s Ugly MV (via fuckyeahygfamilyy)
24.07.2011 Rockin' night @ MTV WORLD STAGE (M'sia) 2011
I had a ROCKIN AWESOME night at this year’s MTV WORLD STAGE.
Beast, Neon Trees, 30 seconds to Mars, they all performed really well tonight! :D
I’ll edit this post early tomorrow, now I’m just so exhausted and my feet hurt because I stood for too long ROFL.
But it was ALL worth it tonight; I had sooooo MUCH fun! I jumped and screamed to my heart’s content. HOHHOHO~
More details & pics tomorrow!~
PS: OH<3 It felt so good seeing Junhyung (his new hair is akjshdksjahdkjsaUNF-worthy) and Beast again. Made me realised how much I missed them despite the fact that I just saw them earlier this month haha<3
(Lol it took me like a whole freaking day just to come and edit this. I’ve been busy working you see hohoho~ MONEHHH :D haha)
Anyways, about last night, IT WAS AWESOME. Definitely another unforgettable night. The show was from 6.30 to 11.30pm. 5 freaking hours, can you believe that?? I actually wanted to bring my dslr along to take pictures and everything but then I thought, MTV will never allow it. Plus, it’s gonna be crowded, I don’t wanna risk dropping my dslr and breaking it o_o
But I’m somewhat glad that I didn’t bring my dslr. One; it was INDEED crowded and taking pics/video recording was so freakin difficult. Two; if I did bring it, I would be too concentrated on my dslr than REALLY enjoying the show.
Which I definitely did. LAST NIGHT’S SHOW WAS SO FCKIN GOOOD :D
Performers: 30 Seconds to Mars,BEAST, Neon Trees, Pop Shuvit.
I’m gonna be rockin with BEAST at MTW WORLD STAGE tomorrow!!~ :D
I know right, I just saw them earlier this month and I’m going to see them again? To be honest, I didn’t want to go for this concert because well, for one, the venue’s too far from my place; two, there was no one who wanted to go with me; and third, tickets are sooo hard to get.
That’s of course till I received a call from my cousin, Kelly who suddenly called me days after Beast’s showcase on 1st July, telling me that she’s got tickets and asked if I wanted to go.
Do you really need to ask, Kelly? OF COURSE I’LL GO! I will never say no to BEAST!! XD hahaha! Plus, those tickets aren’t easy to get!
With 2AM’s Changmin, F.T. Island’s Lee Hong Ki, and 2PM’s Junsu stepping down from KBS 2TV’s ‘Immortal Song 2‘ due to various schedules, it was confirmed that Jay Park, Huh Gak, andSuper Junior’s Kyuhyun will join the show as new cast members.
On July 20th, ‘Immortal Song 2′ PD Kwon Jae Young tweeted, “We are starting again. Hyorin, G.O,Jiyoon, Kyuhyun, Jaebum (Jay Park), Huh Gak. Let’s have fun and enjoy watching them.”
Kwon PD also revealed through a phone interview, “I’m sure Jaebum will be able to show the best stage through his performance and singing. Kyuhyun was chosen because he is already well-known as Super Junior’s main vocalist.” He added, “Huh Gak is a singer who the Korean people like. On the other hand, I think Huh Gak can become a motivation for the other idols. “
Meanwhile, the new members will record their first ‘Immortal Song 2′ episode on July 25th. This episode is scheduled to air on August 6th.
Having YG and Avex joining forces no doubt is a huge collaboration and will bring much benefits to YG artists in Japan BUT……..I having second thoughts. My problem lies not with YG but Avex. Everyone knows Tohoshinki(or TVXQ), the 5-member group was once under Avex but after JYJ’s dispute with SM,…
I second that. I’m honestly as skeptical as you are about this collaboration.
For YG, it’s a good move because well, AVEX is very well connected with the media, etc. in Japan’s music industry. Especially since now YG’s going really ‘international’, AVEX will help alot not only in Japan but Asia too.
But despite all that, IDK. I didn’t like how Avex handled the SM-DBSK/THSK issue. Although Avex did help out with JYJ in the beginning (you know that right?), in the end, they gave into pressure from SM.
