Well, I’m sure most of the older fans know that MAMA’s a popularity award show and it’s been like that since MKMF’s, so we all know that MAMA’s credibility is questionable. I honestly don’t agree with most of the winners tonight..? Like for example, as much as I love 2NE1 (you know I’m such a hardcore Blackjack), but seriously I think Davichi/4men should have won that Best Vocal Performance award. Then there’s the Best Dance Solo Performance award, I expected either Jay Park or Jang Woo Hyuk? Because seriously, Bubble Pop’s choreo is nothing but shaking ass throughout the whole song?? I’d understand if Jay didn’t win, considering he’s still ‘new’, but WooHyuk’s dance should win hands down! And SNSD for Artist of the Year? Seriously? No offense, but they came back in like what? A little over a month and you give them Artist of the Year? If anyone, I’d say Suju for Artist of the Year; they’ve been active for months and had two hit songs back to back with good album sales? So yeah thats just my two cents.
Anyway! I have to say though, this year’s MAMA was definitely better than last year. Performance wise. For me, the performances that really stood out tonight were:
- Ulala Session
- 2NE1
- Koda Kumi
- Jane Zhang
- BEAST
Ulala impressed me so fckin much that I have to give them 1st place for Best performance tonight. Their vocals, performance, stage charisma, was seriously..wow. They gave me goosebumps!! I have to say; their vocals is A LOT better than most idol groups who attended tonight. Seriously, even the ‘senior’ idols lose to them. Their vocal talent is.. I’m speechless. So pleasantly surprised.
2NE1; Nuff said. The name of the group itself is sufficient. They delivered Lonely pretty good (so proud of Minji) and I AM THE BEST was just mindblowingly awesome as usual. CL was on FIRE! I can never get over her confident smirk right before the dance break. ;) So happy that Bom actually sang live tonight, since there were news saying she may not. Dara, as pretty and cute as usual :D
Koda Kumi. Sexy Diva of Japan. I’ve been loving her since 2007. XD For such a petite woman, she definitely packs up a great punch on stage. Her stage charisma is overwhelming. Vocals, dance, performance; I give her full marks.
Jane Zhang. Her vocals was full of win. Hands down. My eyes literally went O_O when she did those high notes. Not many can do those Mariah Carey-esque notes.
BEAST. Their collaboration with Lang Lang was one of the best collabs tonight, imo. Fiction’s live tonight was great. ajsghdhjsgad JUNHYUNG WAS AS HOT AS FCK hahaaha Vocals were good, performance wise not bad as well. Expected more honestly but oh well~ keke. And need I mention that I was so shocked with that HyunxHyun kiss?! IT WAS HAWTTTTT! Here I thought that they both couldn’t pull it off since I hardly see any chemistry between them. But after this perf, I’m definitely seeing them in a new light. Looking forward to TroubleMaker! ^o^
**BEP Will.i.am & CL & APL - I loved the ‘Where is the Love’ part of the performance. The previous two tracks before CL appeared was a little dry for me. =/
Yeap, so that’s my take on this year’s MAMA.
Seriously looking forward to the other year-end korean music festivals this year =D

I’m honestly not surprised that they won, because I’m honestly quite awed with the cinematography for Love Song. I study film, so what makes Love Song so unique is that ‘one-shot’ x-factor. ie. how the whole MV was filmed in ONE shot as how I’ve mentioned before.
So yeah, I was happy with this win for BB :D

Seriously, YesAsia? This order I made from you dated back to early September when I fckin PREORDERED JYJ’s In Heaven red version, All About DBSK 3 DVD, and Big Bang BIG SHOW 2011 DVD.
I waited for 2 weeks and you tell me that you don’t have the Big Bang DVD, postponing my shipment to wait for the Big Bang DVD. Fine, I wait. Another 2 weeks, a few days from the new shipment date you issued, you email me saying to postpone. Moving it down another week. When that ‘3rd’ shipment date approached, you send me an email saying that the supplier can’t provide the product and cancelling the order for that DVD.
WTF?
Okay sure, maybe it really is the supplier’s fault, I give you that. I let it go.
But I’ve been waiting for close to 4weeks since you finally shipped my JYJ album & AADBSK3 dvd! FOUR WHOLE WEEKS. Four whole weeks adding to the many previous weeks I’ve been waiting since 9th September. SEPTEMBER! It’s now 2 days to DECEMBER.
I ask if you could track it, you say ‘no’ because it’s standard airmail. But why is it that you always used DPEX with ALL my previous orders but this time use normal fckin airmail?
I couldn’t take it anymore so I email you.
You got back to me saying you’ll reship the products (as you should), but if any items are unavailable in stock, you’ll refund the money.
FCK. It’s not about the money, Yesasia. THIS IS JYJ’S IN HEAVEN RED VERSION we’re talking about here. The RED version is fcking OUT OF PRINT!!
I’m beyond pissed.
